Temporary exhibition

Dance workshop : Cuerpo consiente

Thursday 12 November and Saturday 14 November 2026

Dance workshop : Cuerpo...

Take time to reconnect to yourself.

During her workshops, Estefanía Gómez Vásquez, founder of Cuerpo ConSiente, invites you to experience how she works with embodied awareness to heal the wounds of violence to support the making of peace in Colombia. Through movement, the body becomes aware of what is happening within it. It reconnects with its sensations and becomes a space for expression and freedom.

This experience offers you a chance to come together and share, exploring empathy, tenderness and mindfulness towards yourself and others. You will experience how dance can be a shared language as well as a vehicle for social transformation. A debrief reflecting on the continued relevance of making peace through embodied knowledge in Colombia ten years after the signing of the Peace Agreement will follow the workshops.

You can choose to take part in one of the three sessions on offer: on Thursday 12 November and Saturday afternoon, 14 November, for sessions open to all, and on Saturday morning, 14 November, for a special family session.

The event is part of the cultural calendar associated with the exhibition Humanitarian by Design? organised in collaboration with the Future of Humanitarian Design Project.
